I Hate Online Stores That Pester You With Emails
I was shopping for an air purifier recently and I was considering a Conway. Notice I say WAS considering. I asked their support a question about the functionality of a product and as a result I was treated to an email every day until I unsubscribed from the mailing list I never signed up for.
"We noticed you were eyeing our air purifiers.." "Your journey to cleaner air starts here!" "Still pondering? Our experts have some fresh ideas!"
That's it. Unsubscribed and device removed from my shortlist. I don't need to be reminded about your product daily. If I want one, I will buy one. My email isn't there to be spammed with marketing, it isn't a gateway for you to perpetually pester me until I buy something.
Coway's heavy handed marketing has had the opposite effect.
