I Hate That You Can't Get LED Bulb For Ovens
The bulb in my oven blew the other day. Instinctively I replaced it with a spare LED bulb. Later that day as I lay down to sleep my eyes sprang open with a thought - can the LED bulb withstand the temperatures inside the oven? The casing was plastic.
It turns out that, predictably, they cannot withstand the heat. There are special bulbs available for this purpose.
Bulbs of reputable brands are only available in multipacks from Amazon. Singles available elsewhere incur a delivery charge. Looks like I'm waiting for my next Screwfix visit..
